Waiting for you by Catherine Miller

I like to thank Catherine Miller and Craina for sending me a hard copy to read as I'm old school, of this lovely story.

In this story we meet Fliss who is working Mother to a wonderful daughter , but who desperately  to get  pregnant again as most women prefer to have more then one child or even one child but has hit a brick wall  on the conceiving side , but her husband is working all week in London and coming home at weekends. Which making things hard on the baby making.

In the story we see how most women deal with the struggling to conceive and how they bond and support each in a group of forums . Thats where Fliss meets Ange, one of her  close people from the groups . So when Ange suggest that her and Ben should go on a documentary that is trying for a baby, at first Fliss was not up for it but the idea plays on her mind. So she signs up without telling Ben. That's when she meets Leon the producer and the chemistry starts to fly from the start but both aware of the situation  that they are in. In time they become close friends which makes Fliss starts really looking at her marriage and was it really turning out the way she wanted. Ben has been hiding secrets but will they marriage survive .

This story had me hooked from page one and could be read in one sitting, so go grab a copy and read today .

Wickham Hall By Cathy Bramley

I have heard and followed this lovely author on Twitter but can confess that this is my first book by her. As I am old school and like to hold a book it has taken me awhile to read her books, and boy what a great read it was .
If you are a Milly Johnson, Katie FForde or even a Carol Matthews fan then this book is for you.

In this wonderful tale we meet Holly Swift who recently lost her job living at home with they mum who she loves to bits but has a horsing problem, which is driving Holly crazy. holly has grown up loving Wickham Hall and knows it like the back of her hand from all the events  and all the rooms she hasn't been to see, she knows more than the actual tour guides.

So when she gets to go for an interviews home goes for it, it's her dream job .She hits it off with Pippa who is interviewing herald she was selling her self which was a great combination. She is shocked when she is offered the position while smashing the air with her hand up high.
so from the first day  it was hands on as Pippa has taken time off straight away so Holly is leave at the helm of the events department . But the office was a mess and Holly couldn't live and work in mess so that was at the top of her list of jobs to do, she also had to meet the staff. First port of call was Nikki the estate gardener her bark is worse than her bite , but lucky they hit it offing good grounds she also hits it off with Jenny the Estate cook. Then there was Andy who had a big massive chip in his shoulder has he did not get the job  but still the gift shop manager so there would be some work needed to bring him around.

Holly was getting control back in her life , making new friends and a job she loved. It was the day of Zoe Fortesace the daughter of Lord and Lady of Wickham Hall  everything is going to plan until the dress gets ripped. Holly  jumps into action and rescuing the situation, as she walking through the church yard to update and collect Lady Fortesace in that spilt second her life. Hanged when she bumps into a man get dressed for the wedding . Holly demands to know what he is doing and accused him of being press, Ben plays along with it until Lady Fortesace turns up and then she is properly introduced her son to Holly  so her weekend started of good now in her best friends dress telling her all about the hot guy that she meet , and the. Nearly died when he walks out of the changing room where he heard all the conversation , then Ben drops the bombshell he is going to be his boss !!!

From day one Ben has rubbed Holly up the wrong way as he likes to make mess being an artist it comes with the job but Holly rubs Ben up the wrong way by being too bossy.  They make a no good term and affections start to fly and how they friendship grows.

Every page I read the story got better and better and I won't give too many spoilers away as I want you to go out and grab a copy of this delightful read.

Will they love survive Ben becoming the Lord and Holly only being hired staff go find out you will not be disappointed .
