Another new author to be added to my must list to read …..

In this delight take we meet Lily Flower one of the three sisters but we meet Lily travelling far away from her family and friends to hide from the world. What she does not know yet that Max is hot on her trails his has been hired to retrieve an item that states to belong to his client that Miss Flower has taken and they would like the item returned as soon as possible.

We see Lily run to Hawaii  and she hopes and prays that no one’s recognises her, as she is a bit of a party girl and is known more for her wild side of life from what is printed in the press gossip  are columns. Lily has come from a strict up bringing losing her mother at a young age and only having a over bringing father for a parent lily has also pushed boundaries where are sisters are settled  and are now running some of the family business but she has never really been a 9-5 kind of girl.

Even thou she had a plan set in place she felt that she had someone watching her from afar so she always looking over her shoulder.

Max had Lily in his sights at all times but at a distance not to be seen but from the moment he started this job with a magnetic pull for her. So when he sees her drowning in the sea his attraction for kicks in for her and jumps in to save her, but soon releases that he is stepping  over the mark he mustn’t get involved  in and out for the laptop he keeps reminding himself. She looked at him and saw his face felt the spark…….

A few days later, lily has cabin fever she has been locked up in her cabin for days heads out to the hotel nightclub hoping that no one recognises her looking for the man that saved her life but lands up having a drink with a complete stranger but it gets sticky when the he wants more than just a drink but that’s not why she was here well not with him, but her knight in shining armour comes to her rescue. The chemistry is so intense they can’t resist each other. They spend every minuet they have together. Lily is fighting a holiday romance or letting Max into the heart of the real Lilly Flower not the one the all the world see????? . Max is fighting falling in love or completing the job!!!!!

So will they time together be spoiled when Max takes the laptop in the middle of the night or bring they stronger together.

Trapped by Scandal Jane Feather

This is another new author for me Jane Feather is a delightful read...

In this story we meet Lady Hero Fanshaw who doesn’t live by the society rules, she is a very strong willed lady which does not all ways does as she is told. She lives with her twin brother in the heart of London, so When Alec goes missing to trip to find his fiancé. Hero thinks about nothing but getting them back on England soil and heads to Paris into the lion’s den to find them. Paris was at its height of the revolution so if she was to found of noble blood then her head would be off so Hero finds herself travelling as a young man, who manages to land up in jail within a short time of arriving in Paris. But before long she is not the only one in her cell and from the shadows a man appears and realizes that’s he is not sharing with a young man but a young lady and one pf noble blood too, He  introduces himself as William Ducasse, Viscount  st.Aubrey and comes up with a plan for them  to escape . Once safe away from the jail Hero explains her story and mission to return to England with her family. William explains that he might be able to find Alex but could not make any promises, but from the moment they eyes meet the chemistry started to boil…. When they arrive at the safe house that William has been using, Hero washes and feels a little human, while she eats they quiz her of how she travelled across the waters with she even had to draw what she saw and that was very little, from the information she had given they realized she travelled over with the “Lizard” Williams emery!!!!!

AS the night goes on more and more men arrive at the safe house for food and pass and receive information to fight the revolution and help the rich and noble escape France and the gelatine, then Alex walks in and Hero is so glad to see him… Alex is not so frilled that she travelled alone through France to find him... All is well when they retire to bed which she finds that she is sharing with William, but they lust boils over and they land up in each other’s arms!!!!!!!

The next morning plans were made the days gathering information for their next move. Hero was to return to women’s clothes but a more common style she was suited too, so she would not draw attention to the safe house. So back to the dress she goes but still wants to help to do her bit for the escape plan. William finds pout that Marie Claire is in prison waiting to be executed the next afternoon, but it was too late for her mother and father, the plan is set in place and everyone has a part to play. Hero play her part well integrating in the crowd to get Marie Claire attention that they were going to help her escape and make her way to end of the cart and they would do the rest. Once Marie Claire was safely from the cart, Hero left the crowds she felt that she was being followed and spent as very long time clucking and driving making sure that she does not lead anyone back to the safe house. When she arrives back after making sure she was not followed her, faces a very angry William which turns into pure passion, when they come up for air they return downstairs for Hero to be reunited with Marie Claire who she had dearly missed, that night the men planned the escape and Hero helped Marie Claire bath and sleep the she headed to bed herself making sure that Marie Claire made it through the night and dreaming that she could love again after losing her love six years ago.

Early hours of the morning they made their way out of the big city out of eye view and made it to the seas without much trouble, could Hero love someone that in a blink of an eye kill but times are kill or be killed… They made their way across the seas to safe waters; Hero and William spend three glorious days together never spending anytime apart,  and in a spilt second he gets up and gets dress and the atmosphere change the love affair was over William states that he did not make any promises and it was never a permeant arrangement  and leaves Hero with a broken heart.

12 months later their paths cross and the chemistry was still there and Hero is confused more than ever but the most of all she needed him to explain for his departure. William pulls her near and pushes her away again is this last or will they have their happy ever after. That’s where you will have to get a copy and find out for yourself...

Second Chance Summer By Jill Shalvs

I can truly say that I’m addicted to Jill Shalvis books and this one does not disappoint.

In this new series we meet Lily returning home from she ran away from ten years ago, so going back was never going to be easy. Lily is trying to get her life back on track after leaving cedar ridge ten years ago after her sister death. She pushed herself in the world of beauty and got to the top of her game styling celebs until one day they did the norm her boss asked her to leak information the a top client as coming for treatment but the visit didn’t go to plan as the client did not want the press this time so someone had to take the fall and Lily was that person and her boss made sure she was left high and dry!!!!

So Laura contacted a friend and jumped in a car and drove as far away from her life as possible straight into cider ridge hoping that the people of cider had moved on from ten years ago. Laura was hoping to sneak in unnoticed , then in a few day introduce her she back to the world of small town, but this did not go to plan when she stops at a store just outside town for junk supplies  and runs into someone she used to know and starts talking about her dead sister this is a place while Lily doesn’t what to go , she panics dropping most of her junk food groups and being watched by the one person she did not want to see for a very long time Aiden the man that took her heart when is left Cedar Ridge ten years ago and his looks that he is giving her tells her that he has her in his sights again. Lily heart is broken and doesn’t even know if it can be mended. Lily is hoping that Cedar Ridge is a stop gap between jobs she doesn’t want to here any longer than she has to be or she will have to to deal with ghosts of the past  that she has been running from the last ten years. But the people of Cedar Ridge and the Colorado Mountains she loved to walk work the magic on her heart????

While keeping herself to herself she finds that every corner she turns she seems to bump into Aiden, can she let go of the past to go forward with the future, well that’s where I’m going to leave you to get a copy and get lost in the Colorado Mountains for the day.

This story fills you with wonderful food ideas to cook but leaves you wanting more of this delightful story dish…

In this book we meet Laura Parker who comes with a bag full of trust issues, leaving her home in Manchester after finding out her husband was cheating on her with her best friend!!!!! She moved to London as far as possible from them and started a new life. Once in London she finds somewhere to stay and is leaving of her savings but needs to get work soon and contacts one of her mother dear work friend Roger at The Voice magazine who she admired for most of her life and gave her connection to her mother. Roger has no writing jobs to give her but he has position has his sectary which Laura snaps up also a position of food critic the “Dish” on the side. Part of the side job was to cover openings of new restaurant’s and this night she takes Roger along for company, tonight opening was for the next best thing to come to London, but landed being the worst she had the miss fortune to visit which turned in food poising for her and Roger.

  Laura life is stable she even stayed to date someone till on fateful morning on her date when she finds out that her man is a cereal dater and was coming straight to her from his date the night before so he was off her Christmas card list !!!! So as she walking away from the date from hell, Laura now thinking can she make it to her favourite café for a beacon roll she might just make it as she goes to order she finds that the last one has to been sold to the man sitting behind her so she goes and orders the next best thing a custard doughnut another speciality of the café the order is placed and coffee she takes a seat. Laura is running over the disaster of her date when her food arrives takes one bite and release that’s is jam that’s the icing on the cafe she heads over to the young boy who took the order and he explains that the man who had the beacon roll also order the custard doughnut and the orders went in  but only one doughnut was left , Laura was at boiling point and she approaches the man explaining that he took the last beacon roll so she should have the last custard doughnut he would not move on this so she offers Adam five pounds for half the doughnut and as they sit and eats they half’s the sparks begin to fly. They land up spending the afternoon chatting, Laura  surprise that she already likes spending time with Adam this banker guy totally opposite to her chef of an ex-husband and after they time together they did not exchange numbers she thought that she would never see her again???? She was wrong Adam arrange a breakfast date!!!

On their second date  Laura finds they have more in common that she thinks and also puts together that Adam is the chef from her worse nightmare  review, they spend more time together and Laura is really started to like this guy but she is finding really hard to tell him that’s she is the writer for the Dish and hope and pray that Adam was not working that night she even arranges to go back for a second review and the food is amazing , but the wrong review get published and Adam doesn’t take the news well. Laura finally found the one that she could open up her heart and soul too but is it too late for them to find true love, That’s where you have to buy the book and find out for yourself  I promise you won’t be disappointed and will leave you wanting more .

A Pound of Flesh By Sophie Jackson

Omg if you a Fifty Shades of Grey Fan and feel that they is a hole missing then this is the book for you. WARNING this book can be read in one sitting……….

This is the first book I have read from this author and I’m now looking forward to next instalment!!!!

There’s a new bad boy in town and his is called Wes Carter who is looked up behind bars with the world against him, but his parole officer is fighting his corner trying to get him early release as he knows that deep down Wes doesn’t  belong there as is really a good guy.

Kat is a lost soul, searching a void to fill the hole left the night her father was viciously attacked and taken from her. Kat runs on very little sleep to avoid the nightmares…….

Kat made a promise to herself and to make her father proud, that’s why she took the teaching job at the prison much to her mother’s dislike but she does sense a joy now and again when she feels that has reach the men to make a better life for themselves, she loved teaching English ever since she was a little girl.

Kat’s classroom stayed calm and very kicked off till the morning when Wes Carter walked  and the minuet  they eyes meet there was an connection, Kat is drawn to him at first sight. Carter doesn’t seem like any of the other guys in the classroom he is educated and seems knowledge also stupid as a spilt second of entering the classroom he was pinned to the wall by a prison guard. Anna guts telling her to protect Carter from the guard after he used excessive force to pin him down and drag him out of class. The next day Cater did not attend class, Kat felt lost how one man can make her feel this way after just one lesson and not even a full one at that? So Kat contacts Cater parole officer to see if she could get him back to class but finds out that Cater could be up for early release and they come up with a plan to help him now they just have to get Cater to agree to it before they approached the prison board.

Kat wasn’t the only fighting feelings as Carter remembers that Kat is his “Peaches “, he has been thinking and dreaming for Peaches for the last 16 years the night Kat’s father was killed Cater saved her from being killed like her father that night and she had been under her skin ever since .What Cater doesn’t get why she is helping him does she really know he is???

The plan worked Kat and Cater are to meet three times a week to complete his English lit course as part of the early release also Cater has a curfew every night. Moving back isn’t going to be easy fitting his conditions with his friends, holding down job, study and also dealing with his family share of a multimillion company and his cousin Austin who wants his share but Cater is not going down without a fight.

Kat is also taking hits from her family and friends over her job and now with the extra project, Kat feels alone but keeps going as she knows that her father would backed her all the way no questions asked.

The first couple of sessions did not go well as Cater always turned up late and with his on his mind and she is starting to think did she do the like thing until Kat arranges a Saturday session, through the session Cater starts to open up about his family and how he used to visit his father to the park were happy times and maybe they may have seen each other there. The tension building up in cater for Kat is getting stronger by the minuet and he has to her who he is, but spots Austin and hides not to be seen and drag Kat and in the heat of the moment they share a kiss and the fires enlighten between them but Kat steps back as she is not sure if her emotions and states that they should stick to the plan as she is risking a lot to help him. They part on good terms and Kat heads home for her night out with friends and Cater heads home trying to get Kat out of his head he takes Max’s offer of going out for a drink, while cater is intent of getting drunk to get Kat out of his head for the night at least he spots a sext red head on the dance floor but it couldn’t be his Peaches then she turns god it’s her before he knows it he is walking towards her he has to be with her. Dancing with each other she knows it’s him. But doesn’t move they bodies connect perfectly into each other but before it could go anywhere Max kicks off on the other side of the bar and Kat tells him to go save his sorry ass.  They next session takes a different route and they land up sending the day together and Kat is more confused than ever.

Kat takes some timeout and visits her grandmother and family she confides in the grandmother her feelings for Cater but this time of year as it’s the passing of her father’s death her grandmother tells her she should confine in her mother too but they have not been close for a very long time , but Kat already knew her mother’s reaction that Cater would bring her down to his level the low of the low in her mother’s eyes and Kat loses the plot and grabs her grandmothers keys and drives and drives until she lands up on Cater doorstep she wanted him she needed him but he doesn’t take advantage so they just sleep together the next day they spend with each other enjoying the moment  when Cater decides to tell her so they is not secrets  so they can be together but Kat does not take the news well and runs Cater goes after her fearing that he lost her forever but finds her o his doorstep. Kat can’t fight it any longer they have always meant to be together.

They both have a fight on they hands on both family sides trying to destroy them, will they survive….

You will have to go keep a copy you will not be disappointed.

This is the first book I have read by this author, even thou this book comes from a trilogy I found this story very easy to read and easy to follow the base story was really easy to pick up. We meet Anna Rossi who has walked away from love of her life, her everything to keep her, family and friends safe. As time goes on the time apart has not healed the heart from Alec Flynn……….

Everyday Anna tells herself that this is the life she needs and it’s keeping the people close to her safe, but at any opportunity her mind wonders back times with Alec and the way he made her feel. Anna feels that even thou Alec let her walk out of his life that he hasn’t really let her go and is still in the background.

One night brings Anna to a charity event that she feels deeply about and she is dressed to impress, before the night even begins she bumps into Alec with his new girlfriend Janelle an Ex FBI agent who was protecting him while he is standing trail against his ex-boss Max Stein. The chemistry between Alec and Anna has not been lost and Anna has to get out of the place as quick as possible, but Alec catches up with her in the kitchens and he can’t resist her and this scares Anna and she leaves the event early with her best friend Marco just home she spins him a spins that she needs an early night and heads straight out the door one he is out of sight to a bar to drink Alec out of her system, but the next morning she wakes up next to dumpster and finds out that she has lost five whole days . The last thing she remembers that she was driving to the bar, not sure of her surroundings and her safety she hears Alec’s voice and clinches to him dearly.  Alec takes her to hospital and gets her checked over and stays with her till her father arrives. The test come back that Anna had been drugged with a date rape that explains that why she can’t remember a thing but the tests conclude that Anna had not been raped.

One minuet Alec is there the next he is gone, Anna heart can’t understand.  Alec has a girlfriend but he found her stayed with her communicated with her friends and dad to make her safe it was too hard to understand that Alec was back in her life. Once Anna is discharged from the hospital Alec insists that he is the one to protect her but Anna fills that she can no longer fight the pull and they should be together and heads over to what was once they home .While awaiting Alec return she comes across some photos of her stay with Max he was using her to get Alec if he continues with the trail he would release them let they did not release any memories from the five days.

Anna stays under the watchful eye of Alec and the FBI while the trail was continuing, the longer they spent time together the harder it became to be apart and maybe Anna started to fill the she might be able to have Alec back in her life they could be one again after he arrange a wonderful secret dinner party where she spent time with family friends and Alec but what he arrange was for her to have one more night to perfection so Alec could say goodbye to keep her safe and the photos to never too be released to the public he couldn’t let that happen instead he would go to prison for the rest of his life and not have Anna.

That’s where Leave you to read the end of the story, to find if they can become one again for forever……….

The great thing about reviewing books especially from Headline Eternal you get to read so many new authors, so Beth Kerry is being added to my newbie list. Omg why have I not  read any of her books before !!!!!!
If you are a fan of Fifty shades of Grey then you will love this story and characters and you will hooked from the first chapter.
In this book we meet Alice Reed who is ambitious graduate with a head for business and numbers, but grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. Her life is about to change paths when she attends an interview for business training school with Dylan Fall the CEO of Durand's from the moment they meet the chemistry begins. Alice is shocked and scared when she wins a place at the trading school, but feels that she doesn't belong there. From the moment she arrives she does not let her guard down especially she around Brooke one her fellow student will use any weakness to bring her down. Alice gets through her taking days ,but after a bad night Alice decides that she needs a run to clear her head to get through the the day, the run starts off fine  as she hits the woods she feels that someone so running after her and is not showing themselves . This sends her running to the stables locking herself in with Dylan.......being confined to the stables and can't fight the passion and they give into themselves. From that moment Dylan desires Alice and demands that goes to him daily after the school day and duties she is to meet him in the woods  and spends the night with hims , Alice fills this uncontrollable pull towards Dylan and finds her self feeling and doing things that from from who she is.
Dylan is hiding a dark secrets from Alice she puts this aside as the passion for Dylan is stronger , when the secrets come to light will Alice be able to trust Dylan and really trust the secrets hidden from her . That's well I leave you, go but the book and read this exciting book you will be hooked , me I'm looking forward to the next instalment .........
