In this next instalment for the lovely Lucky Habour series that's is very additive we meet Amy the bad ass girl from this town. Amy keeps herself to herself always keeping her guard up for a very good reasons she didn't grow up in a normal family home situation, but she has been staying at Lucky Habour for awhile the longest she stayed anywhere, but since the night of the storm she made a pact with Mallory and Grace the new girl they meet once a week over chocolate and sort out they lives for the good , now that Mallory is hooked up with Ty it's time for Amy to hook up with the hot ranger !!!!!
Amy can't seem to take her eyes off him but states she doesn't need a man in her life she has been doing fine without one .
Amy didn't land up in Lucky Habour by chance her Grandmother had been they many years before and it change her life forever, she was looking for heart, soul and peace  so any day off from the diner and the weather is good she try's to follow her grandmothers journey  up in the mountains to find any clues to grandmothers journey, but this day she finds herself totally lost and calls Mallory she steady and string good in a crisis , but she sent the one person Amy didn't want the hot ranger Matt (hkw happens to like Amy).......
They land up sending the night on the mountain, Mallory telling her to drop the bad ass for, act and let the good girl come out, but Matt only as to look at her and she unwinds so they both agree that it's a one time thing what happens on the mountain stays on the mountain. Matt has other plans and tries to prove to Amy that it's not a one time thing !!!!!
so when Matt across a young runaway who has a bad ass act like Amy he ask her for help with the young girl , but as Amy helps she bonds with the young girl as they lives growing help r on the same path a life she left behind before living in Lucky Habour . Can Amy save the girl from the past to find her soul, peace and heat with Matt ??????
You will just have to read the book to find out it's another hit from me .

Lucky in Love by Jill Shalvis

This is the forth book from the Lucky Habour series I have read and I can't seem to get enough of this collection !!!!!!
In this story we meet Mallory the good girl in a wild crazy family, she is a hard working ER nurse and always stays the right side of life and wants to save the world. On one storm night Mallory pops into the diner to pick up a cake she was meant to be making but she can't cook to save her life , when she walked into the diner there was Amy talking to a new girl called Grace and storm brewing outside the door but this night was going to change her life forever...
the storm brings down a tree crashing through the diner and scare the girls to death and brings them closer together. The girls near a noise  but can't see a thing , Mallory throws her phone at the noise she soon realises she may have hurt someone so the good girl goes to find out what is wrong scared to her bone she ventured out into the dark storm and comes across a man lying on the ground in and out of consciousness frozen to the bone. She gets Grace to call 911 and Amy to bring her car round then all three girls get Mallory and the man on the back seat with the heater on full blast to warm him up. Amy takes a good look at the guy now and works out he is the mysterious hot guy about town but know one knows much about him, so when the girls start talking Amy States that Mallory needs to date on the wild side of life in a Mr Wrong as all Mr rights have not work out so far and Mr hoy buns in the car should be her Mr wrong and take her on a date to the auction Sunday night even thou hot buns (Ty) is crashing in the back seat rounding around now and again taking bits of information in  and that he is lying on a lap of a hot nurse and he is taking her on a date Sunday before he passes out again ....
So the night of the action , all Mallory blood and sweat she has put into to raise the important funds for the HSC a project close to her heart, she is more nervous walking into the room knowing the town knows she hasn't a date again she grabs a chair at the back of the room where she thought she was save not joy she is no her bosses table and she knows there no date but Mallory insists that the guy to right is her date and when he turns around its Mr hot buns himself , but she wasn't saved yet has she had to walk all the way to front to open the action with Ty on her side and the town was not going to let her get away without any juicy details how could she  when she didn't even know his name !!!!! Ty stepped in and gave his name calling her shy and to protect her from a grilling, when they sat back down she thanked him even thou he was meant to really be there. Ty did know he had this date just that he had to be there at this time and day but could help himself when he went after her when she was sent to collect a family vase to be sold off in the attic  so when he catches up with her they find that they can't fight the chemistry and she throws the good girl out the window for the night and has the time of her life with Mr Wrong!!!!!
Over the next few days and weeks they seem to not be able to keep they hands off each other, but Ty keeps telling her not to get attached once he is mended he is back to work far far way from Luck habour. Mallory can't help herself and she is falling for Mr wrong but can she save him and herself, well you will just have to read the book. I promise you will not be disappointed .  

Still The One by Jill Shalvis

I have read a couple of Jill Shalvis  books and I have to say I love them and now a fan, So when I was sent a copy to review I was overjoyed as this is the first book I have read from the Aminal Series.

In the story we meet Darcy Stone ex Navy vet with many battles wounds from over years and a car accident to add to the war scares have left a mark on her life , but the ring around her heart  is the hardest to remove as she doesn't let anyone close as she doesn't know how has her mother and father where never around when she growing up and was rejected by them many times and that's the biggest scare if all to heal.

There is one thing that reaches her heart and that the survival of all ex services dog finding new homes  as therapy dogs she buys as many as her budget allows. So when she is not saving ex service dogs she works part time in Belle Hevan for dogs and also part time in the Welliness Centre where she was treated after the car accident by the sexy AJ the one man she wanted and he rejected her  but they have unfinished business between them everyone can see that when they are in a room together, but AJ is the only one that understand the pain she goes through on a daily basis and where she puts a wall up around herself !!!!!!

So when AJ gets himself into a situation  with a project he is trying to get off the ground  and his patient pulls out he needs Darcy's help and she will not do it willing so throws he ran offere she can't refuse a large sum to buy more dogs . Darcy's takes the offer not to help AJ but the dogs and future owners, but this means she has to be on her best behaviour which was going to test her limits . AJ deal was to wine and dine the investor but when Darcy realise that AJ paid for the treatment after the insurance had mad she becomes mad with him . The drive down to the meeting the passion builds up between them and down they head down to the meeting the passion becomes to boiling point they both cave in and kiss but Darcy is still very mad at AJ for the money and makes the investor believe they are a loved up couple ..........

But her revenge doesn't go to plan and AJ lands up in her room which she did not plan and the pan beings to boil again and they become wrapped up in each other and each other the are holding back and got giving up to they full true feelings for each other, fate has other ideas and keeps pulling them together . What  happens in Bois stays in Bois they both made a pact on this !!!!!

So will they be able to stick to the pact or build a bridge of trust and meet in the middle , you will have to read the book to find out the end but you will not be disappointed as this is another great book.

Take Mum Out by Fiona Gibson

 

This is the first book I have read by this author and I have a coupe more of her books in my to read pile that is ever growing !!!!!!!!

I enjoyed every page and laughed out many times so this is a must read book for lazy day in the sun or an escape from a busy lifestyle.

In this book we meet Alice a single mother to two teenage boys, Logan and Fergus in a little flat contented and she lives close by to the boys school which she works at during the day and by night and weekender she runs her meringue business on the side .Life is good, but her three friends have other plans........

Her best friend's feel that  she needs a man in her life it has been far to long for since she had some lovin in her life so she is set up on blind dates.

Val is the first to produce her date of Giles who works with her who happens to be a younger man at first she is not sure about going on a date with a young man but she enjoys her time with Giles till she is mortified that she is taken for hid mother !!!!! and decides that maybe that had scared of Giles for life and doesn't think that she will hear for him anytime soon.

Her second date catches her on a whim and when she blasts down the phone thinking its one of the boys and again left mortified as its Stephen calling about a date they meet for lunch but the date is left to his choice and he books a pizza place within a children's play area !!!!

Stephen the dentist is a little out of practice as he is the sole parent to his daughter and when he is not working his life runs around this daughter's the date goes well and Alice like Stephen but fills that they will be good friends...

With all this extra active of her love life Alice has to deal with the boys growing up and holidaying with they father for the Easter Holidays so with this found freedom she decides to go to Paris with Charlie another date, he whisks her of to Paris  she wants to see the sights that she hasn't seen in a long while but Charlie has other ideas but Alice manages to escape his clutches and if that didn't put her off then Charlie stealing things from the hotel and decides that her and Charlie are not suited in any form.

Her mother comes to stay which breaks up the loss of the boys and they celebrate her birthday and decide to visit a museum and bump into to Stephen and Molly his daughter, they land up spending the day together it felt easy to be around Stephen .Even Molly  loved spending time with Alice's mother and her wild stories  by the day of the day she was pairing Alice and Stephen off, but Alice informs her mother that they are no more than friends and nothing more ........

On return of Logan's and Fergus's little break with they father she finds out that Logan is moving out and in with his father and Patsy his girlfriend he has promise that he is converting the barn into an apartment for him with out even talking to Alice about it .

Alice doesn't take the news well losing one of her babies also she is turning 40 is not helping things but she doesn't have time to brood as the meringue business is taking off and she finds herself in the local deli run by Pascal hot and French owner who is flirting with her !!! his voice does wonders but Alice has had enough of dates and it goes nowhere.

her birthday arrives and she heads out to the bar for drinks with the girls but lands up at a surprise party for her and someone had invited the hot deli owner she spends most of the night talking to Pascal and they arrange to meet for drinks at a later date but her party doesn't go to plan as Logan crashes on to the floor in pain and a tooth missing Alice spends the rest of the party in A&E then phones Stephen as he is the only dentist she knows of the top of her head and he tells her to come round in the morning and he will sort it out .

How does Alice cope with the boys growing up and not being boys anymore but growing men !!!

Who's Alice prince charming  the out of practice dentist or the hot deli owner well you will just have to read the book as you will love every minuet.

 

One Small Act Of Kindness by Lucy Dillion

In this wonderful story we meet Libby who is married to Jason who both have given up wonderful jobs and life of the big city to run the family hotel in Jason home town , the hotel also comes with a Mother in Law and her dog  in tow , but them dew Libby and Margert do get on..
Running the hotel isn't easy it needs a complete make over from bathroom taps to a new booking in system!!!!
Libby starting to have the day from hell trying to find a booking that Margert made but is no where to be found and a room that's ready and suited to a elderly couple and that her on her door step expecting to stay as they have booked ,but a noise from outside draws her out into a scene of horror but she soon assessing and thanking control of the situation she sees there are two cars involved it a smash and a lady undera wheel of one of the cars she stays in control till the police and ambulance arrive she has a quick look for anything laying around of the lady under the car wheel to help them at the hospital but all she has was a slip of paper with the name address of her hotel why was she coming there she wasn't booked in Jason and Marget knew nothing about the mystery lady why was he out with no ID or phone who goes out with now phone ??????
When the mystery lady wakes up in hospital she has no idea who she is not even a name and has no memory at all even the accident she is feeling lost not knowing anyone or anything . When Libby visits the hospital with her mother in law she ant help but check on the mystery lady and finds her awake and even thou they had only really meet that morning they bonded straight way even thou they where complete strangers. Libby helped her pick a name of Pippa she felt it suited her but didn't know why, after a week later Libby goes to find Libby who is being discard to social services has now one come to claim her and still no memory apart from the last few days , Libby steps in and takes care of duty of Pippa until she gets well and better and even more remembers and from they the friendship really began to build stronger ties from Pippa trying to find here past and Libby helping her find her pastas this was the first friend she made since she moved from London, Jason just slotted back in his friends of Ruby friends and appeared that he never left and she was not apart of that click.
When they back at the hotel Libby lets Pippa settle in and they take a walk to the scene they comes across an item that the police must of missed and it brings flash backs and Pippa remembers she is Alice Robinson, her parents happy times and then losing them all over again the pain , she had a start a name but they soon hit a brick wall she is nowhere to be found on the Internet not even Facebook !!
After another night of Jason Dow th ruby club the girls hit the internet but have no luck so try they hand at the booking system which to Libby surpise Alice is a dab hand at it just as they get a run at it they hear a noise but Libby insist that its Jason home from his drinking session that he promise he would not get drunk but find that Luke is carrying a never drunk Jason through the door , but as soon as he sets eyes on Alice he calls her by her name he knows her he many hold the key to hr past. Once Jason is tuck up in bed for the night Luke heads into the girls he is a little taken back the Alice doesn't  not respond to him when Libby explained what happen , Luke explained that he meet Alice while he was working down here and the Pub he was staying at Alice worked behind the bar not not where she lived , but she had a boyfriend . They called the pub where she worked they might have personnel details on file , they boss know her voice straight away but was shocked to hear from her as he thought she was on a five star hoilday with Gethin (the boyfriend) when she arrived he gave her his home address . Luke takes her to the address  but they was no one home so she leaves a note with the hotel number on. The next morning Alice wakes that she is a little closer to her past but has a feeling is more in her past than he says but just can't remember when she gives up hope that  Gathin will call she pops out for coffee to calm her nerves he calls and is coming straight over!!!!!!
When she comes face to face she doesn't get the pull she does with Luke but puts it down to nerves but she doesn't really know this man part from photos and stories he is trying her of they life together,but Gathin wants her to move back home Alce is holding back for some reason but can't put her finger on it .
While Alice is moving forward with her life Libby's seems to be going down hill while she is out visiting she gets a call that the workmen are walking of the job all her plans for an August finish is up in smoke she finds out that Jason has been paying the bill after a screaming row Jason comes clean that they where more bills coming in than he expected and that he invested what savings they did have in a deal even after he promised he would not go back to after they walked from after he was sacked .  Jason walks out and leaves Libby to deal with all the mess on her own.
Will Libby dream hotel come true with or without Jason. Will Alicefind her past and who's in her future , well you will just have to get yourself a copy and read.

This fabulous story is out 23rd of April so go get a copy  and get lost in this wonderful story.

The Secerts We Share by Emma Hannigan

This is the first book I have read by this author, I'm so glad I requested this book to review and now look forward to reading more from this author .

In this story which has three stories running along side and the cross over many times throughout the book which is one of the things I loved most about the book. We meet Clara who is in her eighths and is going strong who's family is falling apart at the seems , Max her son walked out twenty years ago and has never looked back and moving to the U.S. Ave is a strong business women and runs the
family business like clock work and is carrying on the family legacy but Clara feels that Ave is
losing  her way in life nursing a broke heart and bitterness towards Max for leaving her, Clara decides
to look for Max this good be her last chance to make peace and she wants to know he is well and happy, she hires a private investigator to find him. In know time he has found Max who is married and they have a seventeen year old  daugther , Max becane a doctor just like his father. Clara writes to Her granddaughter Nathalie explaining who she is and that she would love to meet her one day and also her mother and father who she dearly missed.
Across the waters Max works hard at his job maybe too hard and when he is home he is there but not really there , he has a wonderful wife Amber and a daugther that is growing up fast which he is missing out on. it's a blink of an eye Nathalie is involved in a car crash on the night of her prom she and her boyfriend are the only survivors all the others are killed even her best friend Mackenzie which she is fighting to accept and Nathalie goes into a drinking melt down and its Amber last straw when is found her drunk and that she got a homeless guy to buy her vodka . Amber is at breaking point when she reads the letter from Clara and she calls her explaining that she thought Max's family was dead but this was clearly not the case and decides that Nathalie needs some time away from LA
with her extant end family across the seas in Ireland  and time out, this opens a can of worms that
Max with Nathalie thousands of miles away she hoped the she would get answers to her many questions as now she feels that she really never knew her and everything they had was based on a lie.
When Clara and Nathalie meet for the first time there not emotional hello but a respect of two women meeting for the first time but Nathalie is going to keep her at arms length, but Clara has a way with people they warm to her every quickly and over they forst meal her magic seems to working on Nathalie especially when they found out they both like to make things and Clara (Oma) offered to teach her how to make a quilt while she is staying with her. She is in too minds she is warming to Oma she wants to let her in but why has her father keep his side of the family away.
making the quilt is bonding them together but where in the sewing room she stumbles upon a box of letters from Hannah to Lukas during the war of they love and strength for each other she would write to him about everything even when she was sent to a camp which was her darkest hour after giving birth and giving up they baby daugther to protect her from the Germans . Nathalie reads all the letters followed the story from start to finish and started to all more for an understanding of her Oma (
grandmother) ,but will anther sercert destroy her heart or mend it better, Will Max ever forgive his mother  and himself for walking away and his dear sister ever forgive him and let love back in her heart!!!! You will just have to read this wonderful story yourself , but you will not be disappointed.

The book is due for publication on 9th April 2015 go get a copy and enjoy.

Head Over Heels by Jill Shalvis

This is the third installement of Lucky Habour series which I'm totally addicted too now and it's the turn of Chole.
The three sisters Tara, Maddie and Chole arrived a year ago not knowing much about each other as they shared the same mother but had different fathers , they had been left the Habour Inn by they late mother in her wish to bring them together as a family. Chole was the only one who stayed with they mother and had inherit her mother's free spirit and went every she wanted too and never set,e in one place for long and is the 'wild child' of the three sisters . Chole is a little laid back then Tara and Maddie , like to take life by the horns and live and always seems to be doing crazy things around town with the town Sheriff ( sexy Sawyer) on her heels ........
Chole is drawn to hanging out with the bad boys , but she finds that she has this uncontrollable chemistry towards Sawyer which she can't explain, so she throws herself into work making a new skin ranger for the Inn and a business idea so her hands her full during the day but when the working day ends she now goes home to empty cottage as Tara has moved in with  Ford and is getting married in two months and Maddie has moved in with Jax and they wedding is next month so she has time on her hands and she can't seem to sit still. Which hands her in trouble mostly with Sawyer and with the morning visits at the Inn for coffee before or after a shift. She is finding it hard to resist him also Sawyer is finding it hard to keep away from Chole  as she seemed to work her way under his skin.
After time the wild child wants the hot sheriff and this drives her mad as he is a big badass good guy and she is not so good !!!!!!!!
But chemistry never lies and they can't keep they hands off each other which scares the hell out Chole as she was never brought up on love and does not know how too feel to say the three little words not even to her sisters.
Will. Hole find her settling feet and truly let love into her heart or will her wild child goddess get her into a lot of hot water.... Well you will have to just read the book to find out .

WARNING: These books are very addictive and can be read in one sitting!!!!!!! So I'm looking forward to the next story from Lucky Habour.
