Late Summer in The Vineyard by Jo Thomas

This book is addictive from the get go and should be read by all.

This is the first book I have read by this author and now look forward to reading her new material very soon.

In this wonderful take we meet Emmy, who is stuck on her life path not able to love forward . she is still living at home looking after her dad who fell apart the day her mother his wife died and her sister left home shortly after. Her work life is the same doing a job that she not really good at or even likes, but it pays the bill and just about keeps the roof over they heads .

Emmy is really not living the dream........

So when a last chance offer she grabs it with both hands and heads off to France with a gang of people to learn the wine business to net a big client, but feels that she does not fit it's not her norm or she suits the job description . The trip gone from one bad day to another, when she finds an old ladies purse and tries to hand it back. This ends in baby as she says the wrong thing and the old lady drive off. To top her day off she finds a strange man sleeping her bed when she returns to the apartment , and they do not hit it off . Especially when she finds out that Issac is the chief wine making and they will working very closely together . If Emmy could get any more drama there is Charlie the own of the wine business who has taken a shine to her, but will he be her Prince Charming ????

The best pat if this book if the relationship and bond that Emmy has  with Madame Beamont the loca, wine maker, who teaches her everything she needs to know about making wine that you I can't get from a text book.

I found it very hard at times to put this book down, so go grab a copy and who is Prince Charming for Emmy and does she save the vineyard in time....
